Monday, October 17, 2005 The Enemy has been defeated. And death couldn't hold You down."I want to know Christ, and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead." Monday, October 10, 2005 Yes I m B.A.C.K with a new entry! My spiritual father has Beckoned At Christ's Kingdom with his newly-setup blog. So hopefully I'd do likewise and also let my blog point back to the kingdom of heaven. As Beck's beer advertisement goes "Life Beckons", i'd add that life indeed points back to our magnificent Creator.Seems like ages ago that i wrote my last entry and so many things hav changed or Ive experienced much and grown too. All recollections of the 'dark ages' are what remains in this blog's past entries; I seem to forget my past experiences quite readily. As i look back on my life's episodes of soap opera interspersed in a theatre of nightmares, I just burst out laughing at myself. The Eric of yore was indeed one of naivety and parochiality. Indeed in retrospect, I just heaved a sigh of relief that I've learnt my lessons and came out of those quagmires a stronger Christian. A new episode of my life has just begun: an episode that extends beyond this realm, this physical dimension of a broken utopia that we call Earth. YES, ETERNAL LIFE IS WHAT I M REFERRING TO. It starts here, now and continues to forever as long as we believe in Him. "Now this is eternal life:that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." John 17:3 |
